Liver is the vital organ of human body and it has three functions; firstly function is secretory, it secreat bile and heparin. Bile assists in absorption of fats. on the other hand the Heparin helps in coagulation and clotting. The second function of liver is that storage function, it stores vitamin A ,B and D, iron and glycogen (glucose in the form of glycogen). the third function is that metabolism function, this includes conversion and synthesis involving fats, proteins and carbohydrates and
also detoxication processes.Next we discussed about gall bladder is a pear-shaped musculus membranous bag, lying in a Fossa on the under surface of the liver and reaching to the front margin of that organ. It measure 8 to 10 cm or on the other side we can say that 43 to 4 inch in length and hold about 60ml . It is divided into fundus, body and neck and consists of three coats( the outer serous peritoneal coat, a middle un striped muscular tissue, an inner mucous membrane which is continuous with that lining the bile duct). the mucous membrane is comprised of columnar epithelial cell which secrete mucin and rapidly absorbs water and electrolytes but not bile salt and pigment
thus concentrating the bile. here the another question about that what is the osmosis? lets we know about it in detail and simple language.
It is the phenomenon of water flow through a semi-permeable membrane that blocks the transport of salts or other solutes through it. Osmosis is a fundamental effect in all biological system. It is applied to water purification and desalination waste material treatment and many other chemical and biochemical laboratory and industrial process. When two water (or other solvent) volumes are separated by a semi-permeable membrane water will flow from the volume of low solute concentration , to the volume of high solute concentration. The glow may be stopped or even reversed by applying external pressure on the volume of higher concentration. in such a case the phenomenon
is called reverse osmosis. If there are solute molecules only in one volume of the system, then the pressure on it, that stops the flow , is called the osmotic pressure.
Now we talking about the permeability and semipermeable membrane. permeability(fluid, in earth sciences, is a measure of the ability of a material to transmit fluids. Semipermeable membrane, a membrane which will allow certain molecules or ions to pass through it by diffusion.
Now we have understand about the liver and the most important function of the liver we discuss in detail. and also we have learnt about the function in details. liver actually is the most important organ in the our body which provide measurable food or things which our body need immediately. But remember in our body there are many other organs available which are not vital. vital mean the most necessary , and we never live without vital organs like liver, heart etc. Due to disturbance of the liver function we fell in a disease which called hepatitis . it is actually the swelling of liver , in medical term we say liver (hepa ).
